We believe in family, and seek to create a climate of belonging and inclusion. We come from many different cultures and backgrounds, joining together when it counts most and finding a place for everyone to feel supported and increasingly confident. We are a faith-filled community, full of creative, dynamic energy and we unite to develop the spiritual, academic, athletic, artistic, and social aspects of our members. When students leave our school, our prayer for them is that they are reverent, respectful, well-rounded, courageous, generous, resourceful, healthy, active citizens who can live the Gospel and show Christian stewardship because of the time they have spent here building relationships and memories. As staff members we value compassion, encouragement, collaboration, leading by example, humour, loyalty, and forgiveness, and we celebrate that everyone has something special to offer.
We believe that all of our students have the right to be healthy, happy and safe, to be loved, valued and respected, and to have high aspirations for the future.
We believe that you as parents are the first educators of your children and that you are an integral part of their formation. By working in partnership with the school and parish we believe that we can truly promote life-long learners in this world, and saints in the next.
We make a point of noticing, naming and nurturing every child in our school. It is our hope that by recognizing our students for the good that they do to others, we will continually build our community and create a desire in everyone within it to believe in our capacity for sainthood. Through our website, our programs, our policies, upcoming events and important dates throughout the school year, we believe that we can communicate effectively and support one another in sharing in the mission of the Church to proclaim and build the Kingdom of God.
Sincerely in Christ,
Irene Wihak
