St. Francis de Sales School ready for the 2024 Terry Fox School Run!
Terry Fox Walk - SFDS School supports the goals of the Terry Fox Foundation every year by holding a walk/run in September.
- Students in Gr. 1-7 will be walking with their classes from our school, across Kingsway to the Central Valley Greenway trail. The participation area will be clearly marked with cones so students know the boundaries.
- Parents are invited to take part as well.
- WE NEED VOLUNTEERS to help us navigate across Kingsway and back. Please let the office know if you are willing and able.
- Students in Kindergarten are welcome to participate if their parents supervise them directly; their class is dismissed early that day.
- STUDENTS MAY WEAR THEIR GYM STRIP ALL DAY.
- We ask that all students donate a minimum of one toonie towards the Terry Fox Foundation which has done much good work to mitigate the effects of cancer. Each year, we raise nearly $1000! Please be generous!
